Exciting things have been happening!

Last month, the executive director of a small cable television station in Tyler, Texas attended one of our meetings and was blessed. The next day, he called and offered us a free spot on a Saturday night for our own "Overcoming Life's Obstacles Television Broadcast." For the rest of January, we had our own television program on a "love-offering basis." For $175 per month, we will be able to continue the programs through August. If you would like to sponsor the programs, we will give you full credit on the program. The program is aired live, Saturday nights in Tyler, Texas on cable Channel 18 at 8:00-8:30 p.m. What a joy it is to serve Him in whatever place He has us!

After 17 years of hosting seminars here in Lindale, we have cancelled all Lindale Seminars for 2007. We felt there just wasn't enough interest to continue. Many who attended our seminars here in Lindale are now attending meetings in Duncanville, Texas. If you wish to attend, we recommend you come to Duncanville on the second Saturday of each month through 2007, or attend any one of our other meetings held in Austin, San Antonio, Tyler or other places God will have us go. God says, "My people perish for the lack of knowledge…" (Hosea 4:6). Many in the body of Christ are suffering due to the lack of knowledge and the rejection of knowledge. God offers us freedom from fear, anger, lying, cheating, sexual perversion, addictions, depression, mental problems, misery, meanness, selfishness, hurt, pain, grief, sadness, sickness…etc and a overcoming life. Yet, many people in the church just hang in there, being overcome and overwhelmed by the circumstances of life, rather than experiencing victory. People are blind to their great need for repentance and deliverance. Jesus is the deliverer and works through deliverance ministers in many places, but the truth of deliverance is being rejected.

Because of false doctrines being taught in the church, like sheep to the slaughter, people in the church are being led to believe that being saved by grace is a license to sin. This falsehood allows them to keep all their excess baggage. The Word says in Hebrews 12:14, "Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord?" Galatians 5:19 says, "Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you just as I have forewarned you that those who practice such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God." In this passage, it is not speaking of a one-time sin but a habit, a custom and a life-style.

A. W. Tozer said, "The weakness of so many modern Christians is that they feel too much at home in the world. Religion today is not transforming people; rather, the people are transforming it. It is not raising the moral level of society; it is descending to society's own depraved level, and congratulating itself that it has scored a victory because society is smilingly accepting its surrender."

There is more to salvation than what is being experienced. Jesus said in John 10:10, "I have come that you might have life and have it MORE ABUNDANTLY." If you are not experiencing it, God wants to show you why. Ask Him!

I am deeply grateful for those of you who continue to support our ministry with your financial gifts and prayers. We need your help, as well as your prayers. May each seed sown into this ministry be multiplied and returned to you a million times over. 2 Cor. 9:8 says, "And God is able to make all grace abound to you, that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed."
