36
Scriptural Reasons for Financial Problems
In searching
for answers to financial problems, the Lord has revealed to me
there are at least 36 Scriptural reasons for financial problems.
I trust this Word study will bless your life as it has mine. This
is not a gimmick nor is it an appeal for money. My intent is to
bless the body of Christ.
An
Idol is Lurking Behind Your Anger
Anger is the
fruit of idolatry. Are you aware of the fact there is an idol
or idols lurking behind your anger? There is only one-way to overcome
it; and that is, to lay down the idol behind each specific area
of your anger. We get angry because we expect others to bow down
and worship our false gods and to love our idols as much as we
do.
Are
You Salt That Has Lost Its Flavor?
In todays
world, the Church needs the qualities of salt. To the Christian
of today, Jesus tells us to be the salt of the earth.
In fact, in Matthew 5:13, He says, You are the salt of the
earth. Read this article to do a "flavor check"
on your Christian Walk.
Born
Again
Just what does
it mean to be "born again?" It cannot be adequately
described except to say, a life has been transformed and a person
no longer has a desire to live the way he once lived. When we
are truly "born again" (saved), we are given the gift
of repentance which enables us to turn from sin and causes us
to desire obedience to Jesus. Why is it that some 80-90% of persons
professing to be Christians have never been "born again?"
Breaking
Demonic Defaults
When parents
fail to train their children in the way they should go, it sets
a demonic default in the life of that child that continues on
into adulthood; and if, not broken follows him/her right into
the grave. As children, we consciously or unconsciously promise
ourselves that when we grow up life is going to be different;
only to find out that as adults, we are in some ways reliving
our childhood. As adults, we try to break out of these childhood
patterns; but, the way we were set at the factory through childhood
training, keeps kicking us back into the default of the way we
were raised.
Discerning
Strange Fire from the Real Fire
For the most
part, discernment has been lost in the Church. God's children
who should be steeped in the Word of God are not; and as a result,
do not know how to separate what is 'Holy' from what is of the
'flesh' (profane).
God's
Remedy for Pain
There is physical,
mental and emotional pain. The best the world can do for us is
to try to manage our pain and to help us cope. God heals it if
we meet His conditions.
Hardness
of Heart
Your heart
is vitally important. Your heart has much to do with how God moves
in your life. A person may want to receive healing and deliverance
but hardness of heart blocks him from the Truth which sets him
free.
How
to "Change" Others
In order for
others to change, we must first change ourselves. Jesus said in
Matthew 7:3 And why do you look at the speck that is
in your brothers eye, but do not notice the log that is
in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, Let
me take the speck out of your eye, and behold, the log is
in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your
own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of
your brothers eye. In other words, Jesus is telling
us that, before we can tell our neighbors whats wrong with
them, wed best have our own backyard cleaned
up.
How
to Forgive
It is critical
that we forgive. This universe operates according to God's well-crafted
design, and human relationships are no exception. In order for
us to live the abundant life as the Word of God promises us and
to experience healing and release from devastating relationships
and circumstances, we must practice the principle of forgiveness.
How
to Have Faith
In Galatians
3:26 it says, For you are all sons of God through faith
in Christ Jesus. The faith I am addressing in this message
is not salvation faith: the greatest of all miracles. This is
about the faith to believe God for day-to-day miracles of provision,
healing and deliverance with the help of the Holy Spirit.
Logs
and Specks
Judging with
righteous judgment is seeing a situation through the eyes of Jesus.
It is using what you see for kingdom principles to pray for and/or
help the other person to bring about healing, restoration and
reconciliation. Unrighteous judging is using what you see with
a prideful, critical, condescending, negative, bitter or angry
attitude.
Mental
Illness
Having some
type of a mental disorder is a serious problem that plagues our
society and the Church today; in society, for obvious reasons,
and in the Church because repentance, for the most part, is not
taught.
Overcoming
Fear, Anxiety & Stress
Finding refuge
in anything else other than God is idolatry. Being outside of
His refuge in any given area is at the root of all fear, anxiety
and stress in our lives. Failure to come into God's refuge which
produces "rest" and is "the perfect love that casts
out fear" is at the root of all autoimmune diseases and the
majority of our physical problems
Reproof
The dictionary
definition of reproof is a reason offered for or against a proposition,
opinion, or measure; a reason offered in proof, to induce belief,
or convince the mind; followed by for or against. Since "reproof"
in the Hebrew means argument, a person must be willing to lay
aside their own argument and embrace God's argument. They must
be a person who is willing to receive the discipline of being
corrected and through repentance choose God's way.
Swallowed
Up!
We are either
in Gods refuge swallowed up by His life being "hidden
with Christ with God" or we are "swallowed up in a false
refuge" and being covered by a false god. Of course, behind
all false gods and idols is satan. Being "swallowed up"
in a false refuge blocks healing and deliverance as a person who
is "swallowed up" is dull of understanding which is
necessary to having the knowledge that keeps you from perishing.
Soul
Ties
Through Soul
Ties, you can carry the familiar spirits, the addictions,
sicknesses, characteristics, ideas, habits, opinions and emotions,
etc. of the persons with whom you have a soul tie. Many people
are looking to the world to find solutions to their problems when
the answer could lie in a soul tie. There have been many occasions
when I have seen people instantly healed of pain when soul ties
are broken.
The
Power of Words
In just 6 days,
God spoke the world and humanity into existence. With our words
we can speak things into existence. There is power in our words.
Words are creative either for good or evil. Words either bind
or they loose. Words can be destructive or constructive; they
can build up or they can tear down. With them we can hate or love,
heal or make sick.
The
Source of Evil Thoughts
The Bible clearly
teaches that evil thoughts proceed from the heart. James 1:14
says each one is tempted when he is carried away and enticed by
his own lust. In other words, we can only be tempted by the defilements
that have been stored or planted down in our hearts. Evil thoughts
come out of a part of our hearts that are unsanctified and in
need of cleansing.
The
Unloving Spirit
In order for
us to love others we must first be able to love ourselves. Not
with a prideful, arrogant kind of love but with God's love and
valuation of us. The way we love others will reflect how we love
ourselves. The biggest hindrance to us loving ourselves is an
"unloving spirit".
Train
Up a Child in Way He Should Go
God commands
fathers to train up their children in the way they should go according
to the Word of God. The majority of our problems are rooted in
the lack of proper discipline and training according to the Word
of God.
Unforgiveness
God will forgive
us only to the extent we can forgive others and our self. Forgiveness
is not an emotion but it is a choice. We do not have to feel like
it, want to forgive, like to forgive, think it is fair to forgive
or even that those we are having a problem with are worthy of
our forgiveness. We choose to forgive because we love God and
want to obey and please Him more than we want to hold on to unforgiveness.
Why
Life Does Not Go So Well
Deuteronomy
5:16 says 'Honor your father and your mother, as the Lord your
God has commanded you, that your days may be prolonged, and that
it may go well with you on the land which the Lord your God gives
you. Every problem in life can be traced back to the breaking
of this one commandment. It is a Scriptural truth that life will
go well for us in every area we could honor our mother and father
and life will not go well for us in any area we did not or could
not honor our mother or father.
